Students discuss the mechanics, characters, and strategies of the video game Mario Party Jamboree. Through game-based conversation, they practice giving opinions, explaining strategies, and describing gameplay experiences.

This club explores the Midwest state of Kansas City, Kansas—the city and State, foods and arts, ways of life and works of the USA. This class will take a look at the life on the farm and life in the Midwest. Moving out into the center of the USA is much different than the city. Life on the farm is hard work!
Students will explore the pros and cons of hot and cold weather. Participants will discuss personal preferences, how different climates affect daily life, and the cultural and health impacts of temperature extremes.
Students practice describing people’s physical appearance using clear and simple language. They will talk about hair, facial features, clothing, and general looks while improving observation and speaking skills.
